IPAC’s Music Performance Company is designed to build the foundation for future musicians & performers by providing opportunities to perform & give back to the community. Students will foster a sense of responsibility & learn a strong foundation in performance etiquette while building relationships between other musicians. Student will be challenged to broaden their horizons & grow in both character and musicality while gaining experience that will last a lifetime!

 

IPAC MPC’s Investment
2 hours of community service hours
Nursing home Performances
Benefit concerts (i.e. MusicLink Playathon at Mall of America, Pedaling for Pianos, Impact Gala, National Anthem)
Performing for outside events (Recitals outside of IPAC, festivals, school events, master classes)
Mentoring students (helping at ice cream social, summer music camp, play/sing duets with younger students)
Participate in 1-3 contests or exams
Monthly Classes with opportunities to bond with other students, performance prep including giving feedback on each other, ensemble work (Reporting back/giving progress to IPAC’S music team for guidance and recommendations)
Listening assignments for five pieces from at least three different genres where student would have to write personal reactions, at least one being a live performance.
Create either an original composition or a project that bridges to another art form, which will be presented at the final musicales of the year.
$50 per month or $450 for season-in-full payment MPC investment added on to your normal lesson tuition for those students placed in MPC post-auditions.
